Degree Programs:
Many USC students pursuing PhD, MSc and BS degrees are supported by assistantships
in ISI research projects.
Teaching:
ISI researchers teach several graduate and advanced courses in Computer Science
at USC. Many of these advanced graduate courses were created by ISI researchers
and are part of the requirements for Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees at USC.
PhD Advising:
PhD students are central to our research projects. All PhD students
at ISI are fully supported through felloships or research assistantships.
They work closely with their ISI faculty advisors and are active in publishing
widely new advances in the field.
USC/ISD Faculty:
Many ISI researchers are also faculty members, mostly in the
Computer Science Department.
Internships:
Many students from other institutions do internships with researchers
at ISI. This includes students in Cognitive Science, Psychology,
Linguistics, and Engineering, as well as many undergraduates.
Students have come to us from many local schools. Our summer internships
welcome students annually from all over the world.
